A redesign of an older character I've never posted before. I've been working on beefing up my drawing ability this past little while, and decided it would be fun to revisit some of my older characters that were in dire need of makeovers despite my constant drawing of them. Syftex has a special place in my sketchbook since she's always been a bit of a fursona of mine. Quiet, watchful, and far more intimidating in appearance than actuality. She's also incredibly clumsy (a personal trademark it seems).

Her design is mainly based off of Egyptian Bastet figurines for her ears with a lynx influence for the hair tufts, and her body takes characteristic's from the thin build of a cheetah, and a hint of the more powerful musculature of other medium-sized big cats.

I had fun experimenting with the coloring, it was a little weird on my old computer, but it worked out pretty nicely. I'm really glad I found a way to make pencil lines look nice on the screen so I don't have to take hours to redraw certain things. Definitely takes a lot of time off the process.
